SUPERATES Refractory Material Co. is one of the biggest refractory material manufacturer companies in Turkey, serving to ferrous and non-ferrous metal, cement, energy and environmental industries since 1966.
By the end of 1976 SUPERATES manufacturing capacity was 19.000 ton/year. After the government supporting modernization program in two steps between 1976 and 1989, the manufacturing capability of chamotte and high alumina bricks by dry pressing has been improved.
After 1990, the demand of alumina silicate bricks started to decline whereas the usage of the resin bonded magnesia bricks in the steel industry was increasing. Therefore, SUPERATES has invested in resin bonded magnesia brick production in 1991.
SUPERATES built a new monolithic production line in 1998 due to the increasing demand of the unshaped products in refractory applications. Along with the developments in the industrial demand new investments in hydraulic presses were realized in 2003 and 2007. Herewith the pressing capability as well as the quality of the finished products increased significantly. At the same time, the new precast line was established to offer new solutions to our customers according to the improving technological developments.
SUPERATES operates in appr. 25.000 m2 indoor facility area with a total annual production capacity of 55 000 tons. SUPERATES is determined to continue to add value to the process of its customers by providing best possible solutions supported by engineering and technical services.
